Returns & Faults
At My Body Piercing Jewellery, we understand that purchasing jewellery online can sometimes be difficult. While orders cannot be cancelled or amended once placed, we aim to make our returns process as simple and transparent as possible.
Incorrect or Missing Items
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery and before opening any sealed packaging.
If you have received an incorrect item or something is missing from your order, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. To help us resolve the issue promptly, include a clear photo of the items received and your order details.
Change of Mind Returns (Store Credit Only)
For hygiene reasons, body jewellery can only be returned if it remains unopened and in its original sealed packaging.
Returns for change of mind must:

Be lodged and returned within 5 days of delivery

Be in original, unopened and sealed packaging

Be unused and in resalable condition
Please note:

Returns are issued as store credit only

Opened items cannot be returned under any circumstances

Store credits are processed at the end of each week

Confirmation will be sent via email once completed
Return Deductions & Fees
The following may apply to approved returns:

Original shipping costs are deducted where the full order is returned

If free shipping was applied and the updated order total no longer qualifies, the shipping fee will be deducted

A 10% administration/restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns

Discounts and promotional offers will be adjusted proportionally in the final credit amount
We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service and ensuring all items are packaged securely, as we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost or damaged in transit.
Faulty Items
All jewellery is inspected prior to dispatch. However, if you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer:

A replacement

Or, if no stock is available, a refund, where required under Australian Consumer Law
When returning faulty jewellery, please ensure:

The return form is completed

Items are packaged securely for transit
Customers are responsible for return postage costs and ensuring items arrive safely.
The Following Are Not Considered Faults

Lost components due to jewellery not being checked or tightened regularly

Damage caused by accidental or intentional misuse

Over-tightening, bending, dropping or excessive force

Incorrect use of jewellery, including improperly opening hinged or seamless rings
